The Goninan siding and buildings with locomotive NR120 in the siding

From 1996 to 1999, I worked for A Goninan & Co, who at the time were building the fleet of NR locomotives for National Rail. Upon leaving, I was presented with a kit of a factory building, with the explanation that this was the nearest thing that could be found representing a conglomeration of sheds such as they had. This photograph shows the completed model of my Goninan's site, with a NR locomotive parked at the front.

The layout of the complete model

This photograph shows the complete area I have for the model railway. The layout is a continuous length of single line track, but on two levels, so that trains have to circle the room three times before arriving back at the same place. There are three towns on the layout. Wubin appears in the back of the photograph.
